WHAT IS AMIVPA?
AMIVPA stands for Anna Maria Island Vacation Property Association. We are a concerned group of professional vacation property managers which manage vacation rental properties on Anna Maria Island, Florida. More specifically properties in all three great cities, Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach. Anna Maria Island can be found on the West Coast of Florida to the South of Tampa and to the North of Fort Myers. We are a community in the past few years which has received world wide press as one of the top 20 Island’s in the world to visit. The members of our association represent more than 1,000 vacation rentals on Anna Maria Island.
What is AMIVPA’s goal?
The goal of AMIVPA is to assemble ethical and responsible property managers to work toward balance in our beach community. Trash, noise, parking and traffic are all results of our ever growing popularity of Anna Maria Island. Our property managers understand balance between visitors and the full time residents is of utmost importance if we are to keep the authentic and quaint feeling of Anna Maria Island. This is not an easy task but feel our association is here to assist our cities in continuing best practices and working together to evolve our property management practices into guidelines that help our community to find the balance we all seek.
How can you help?
If you own vacation property on the island be sure to use a property manager which is a member of AMIVPA. The property managers in our association have committed to responsibly and ethically renting your property to the guidelines our group has established. The guidelines are a list of best practices we employ which requires on site management to further ensure our visitors meet reasonable expectations to ensure neighboring properties regardless if a vacation rental or permanent resident can relax and have quiet enjoyment in their own home.
